This year has been a journey of smoke, fire, and friendship. I’ve had the chance to enjoy some truly incredible cigars—from limited releases I had been chasing for years, to hidden gems discovered at lounges with friends. Each one told its own story, not just in flavor, but in the setting, the pairing, and the people I shared it with.

For a while, many of you followed along with my Cigar of the Week (CotW) reviews. Those posts started as a way to capture my thoughts and ratings, but they quickly became something more. They reminded me that cigars aren’t just about tasting notes or construction—they’re about moments. A great cigar can turn an ordinary Wednesday night into something memorable, or make a gathering of friends feel timeless.

That’s why I decided it was time to take things further. Instead of keeping CotW tucked away on a private page, I’m opening it up as a full public blog: Stay Smokey Blog. This space will be about more than reviews—it will be about adventures. You’ll find my honest cigar ratings, yes, but also stories from lounges, pairings with bourbons and whiskeys, club events with the Moon Cigar Club, and the little discoveries that make this hobby such a rewarding part of my life.

At the heart of it all is one simple desire: to share what I love. Cigars are better when the experience is shared—whether that’s passing a cutter around a firepit with friends, or connecting here with readers who enjoy the same passion.

So light up, pour something good in the glass, and join me on this ride. The ash may fall, the smoke may fade, but the memories stick around.
